
Artwork Specifications
If your company is providing artwork or components for the design of a billboard, please follow these guidelines:
File Format: Save files for Windows platform (not Mac).
Resolution: Minimum of 300 dots per inch (DPI).
Size: 1/4-scale from the size of the billboard's face.
Height of Artwork = Height of Billboard Face X .25 Width of Artwork = Width of Billboard Face X .25
Please do not convert the feet into inches before you multiply by .25.
Example:
14 X 48; 14 X .25 = 3.5, 48 X .25 = 12; artwork will be 3.5" X 12"
We try to accommodate everyone, but we are not able to open certain files.
Acceptable Software:
Adobe Photoshop CS2 or less
Adobe Illustrator CS2 or less
Acceptable Formats:
.PDF, .PSD, .AI, .TIFF, .EPS
Please create outlines or rasterize type, and specify
your desired PMS colors.
To access View’s FTP site, please
visit
ftp://ftp.viewoutdoor.com from Internet
Explorer and follow the on screen instructions. There is no username or password
required and this method will not work from a MAC computer. Please notify your
rep after sending files
via the FTP site so we can retrieve your artwork.
We need the highest quality images
provided by you so
that we can guarantee the best, most attractive billboard. Only crisp, clean
components will reproduce accurately.
We are not responsible for poor quality prints.
There is no
difference between producing artwork for a standard bulletin and a Tri-Wave
billboard. Please produce artwork following these guidelines.
After receiving the artwork please allow a
two week turnaround time for the production and installation of the
vinyl.
If your company will be ordering the artwork for a Tri-Wave sign, please
contact your sales representative for the printer specifications.
